Terms and Conditions

Prior to scheduling a consultation, I am available for a 30 (thirty) minute phone call during which we can decide whether I am a good fit for your needs and to help you make your decision on whether to book with me.

Booking

The booking arrangements will include confirmation of the training or consultancy agreed.  Booking is confirmed on payment. If I am no longer available, I reserve the right to postpone and deliver on an alternative date.

Pricing

This section outlines the fees and expenses I charge.

Fees

The course fee is GBP (pound sterling) plus expenses (see ‘Expenses’ below).

The course details are in a separate and accompanying document.

Expenses

In general, I need you to either arrange adequate transport and accommodation for me or reimburse me for my travel and accommodation costs. Travel and accommodation must be of a standard that will enable me to comfortably do my job.

In addition to the fees, I can recover from you a) reasonable incidental expenses including, but not limited to, travelling expenses, hotel costs, subsistence and any associated expenses, b) the cost of services provided by third parties and required by me for the performance of the Services, and c) the cost of any materials required for the provision of the Services.

Maximum numbers
The quote that I provide for events will be based on the number of delegates you provide. The number of
delegates that attend an event will greatly change the nature of the delivery. I reserve the right to add a
surcharge for delegates in excess of the agreed maximum number.

For in-person consultancy, training, and events, you are required to provide:
• Venue
• Refreshments
• Equipment as required (device and projector, flipcharts, pens, paper)
• For virtual events, the delivery platform (alternatively: I can provide a virtual platform and support at an additional cost, where available).
What I provide:

Payment

I require payments to be made as follows:

§  All fees must be paid in advance to confirm the course booking.

§  Expenses such as travel and accommodation, if not provided, may be separately and subsequently invoiced.

§  All payments must be made in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise agreed in writing between us.

a.      Any transaction costs or international exchange fees must be paid by the client such that the final amount I receive is the entire amount invoiced.

§  I can accept payment via transfer to UK bank account or PayPal.

Cancellation and amendment

§  Your booking is confirmed once payment of the course fee has been made in full.

a.      Failure to reimburse subsequent chargeable expenses may result in course cancellation.

§  If you want to amend any details of the booking you must tell me in writing as soon as possible. While I cannot guarantee I will be able to amend your consultation, I will be as flexible as possible and make all reasonable efforts to accommodate your requested amendment(s).

§  My standard cancellation terms are set out below.  I reserve the right to vary these in relation to individual
bookings; I will inform you at the time of booking if different terms will apply.
1. If you cancel an event less than:
o 2 weeks before the date of the event you will be charged 100% of the original quote
o 2-4 weeks before the date of the event you will be charged 50% of the original quote
o More than four weeks prior to the event start date – administration fee of £75
2. I often book travel and accommodation in advance, to get the best rates. If you cancel the event
and we are unable to obtain a refund for these bookings you may be charged for these expenses, in
addition to the charges set out in 1. above.
If you are able to rebook for an alternative date, I may waive or reduce the cancellation fee. This will be
at my discretion.

§  If, due to circumstances beyond my control, including those set out in the clause below (see ‘Circumstances beyond a party's control’ below), I need to amend your consultation or how it is provided, I will notify you immediately. I will make all reasonable endeavors to keep any such changes to a minimum.

§  You will not have to pay for any confirmed booking I cancel for any reason (for example illness or family emergency).

§  Sometimes it may be possible to rearrange a consultation period. This is subject to my availability. I will try to be as flexible with rescheduling as I can but if you don't give me enough notice and we can't agree on an alternative time, I will treat the booking as cancelled-by-you and the above cancellation criteria will apply.
